Thanks to the application for photo documentation in Lineregister, clients are able to record and control installations easily and conveniently on site.
Energie Graz GmbH has been using LineRegister by GRINTEC for line information all along. Construction companies have to verifiably inquire about the existence of installations and lines before any construction activity. LineRegister provides relevant information and plans guaranteeing a complete documentation of the information process. From now on, this documentation can be upgraded with an additional useful feature: Construction companies should document exposed line segments via photos and add these to the existing information case.
More than 30 people from utility companies in Germany and Austria have participated at this year´s LineRegister workshop in Leipzig. New features of LineRegister were presented by GRINTEC and the release 5.0 was announced. The participants presented LineRegister projects of their companies, which sparked the lively exchange of knowledge and experience of the clients. As a consequence, particularly new users profited from the expertise know-how of experienced users.
We would like to thank all participants for the excellent collaboration. GRINTEC considers this workshop a very productive meeting with much input, praise and suggestions for improvement presented in a pleasant setting.
We are looking forward to meeting you again at next year´s workshop on LineRegister!
We are proud of being significantly involved in this project and would like to welcome E.ON companies as LineRegister clients!

New Expansion in Switzerland
The surroundings of lines on construction sites are regularly controlled in the course of scan flights of lines operated by Gasverbund Mittelland AG and Swissgas AG.
At construction sites, those in charge have to ask for the permission of gas providers for construction projects near lines. GIS administers these requests as object planning permission. It is essential that one can easily and quickly determine whether there is a building permit for the construction site in sight.
SWebApp has been expanded to optimize support for these two gas network providers in this particular operation. The expansion provides a well-organized list of all planning permission. It additionally offers a filter according to various criteria and a search function and automated notifications can be activated. If the SWebApp user approaches a planning permission location, it is visually highlighted in order to provide the user with the relevant information at the right time. Finally, the planning permission can be assessed according to three criteria.
As one might lose signal during scan flights, all required data and functions are available offline.
The strength of SWebApp can be seen during the whole process of the scan flights: Data and information is provided at present, quickly and well-organized at the right spot at the right time. Assessments are embedded into the original system directly and immediately.

Since the beginning of May, LineRegister has been connected to the line information portal of infreSt at euNetworks via the interface. Thereby, euNetworks receives all relevant requests that are submitted at the portal of infreSt without additional effort. Requests can, of course, still be made via LineRegister directly. The internal information process of LineRegister remains unaltered.
The interface is designed for the usage by other portals as well; a usage by ALIZ is in preparation.
As of now, all Line Register clients who are using the newest version of LineRegister can be connected to the line information portal.
We present the new mobile client for LineRegister just in time for the SWUG.
The mobile client is available to internal and external users via all browsers on smart phones and tablets. External users can now also access plans and documents of their requests directly on construction sites. Therefore, you do not have to print plans anymore and cannot forget them either. Apart from accessing documents and plans, internal users can also edit and complete tasks like “on-site instruction”.
The design framework of SWebApp was updated and therefore, the mobile client is compatible with new browser versions. Additionally, SWebApp has a new and modern look. The new version will be available from the SWUG in Potsdam onwards.
The new face of LineRegister. Dashboards have become an essential part of web-applications and so has LineRegister.
After being held in Klagenfurt and Linz the clients day was set back “home” in Graz this year.
In cooperation with the partners of GRINTEC informative talks and presentations were held and especially productive applicants workshops were held on the issues of workforce management and LineRegister.
We are particularly happy that se were able to acquire Stadtwerke Karlsruhe as our second LineRegister-clients on the basis of ArcGIS (ESRI). Stadtwerke Karlsruhe will provide information on the location of lines and operating material to contracting companies and private citizens that are registered on LineRegister. Additionally, we are happy to announce that Stadtwerke Wedel, Stadtwerke Neumünster and Stadtwerke Buxtehude via our partner Energiesysteme Nord (ESN).
